Jewish Foundation for Group Homes, A Non-Profit Organization in Rockville, Maryland

JFGH was one of the very first Jewish residential programs of its kind and during the past two decades, has become a model worldwide for organizations with similar missions.

The Jewish Living Program is designed to train JFGH staff, residents and families on all aspects of Judaism.

Each year, the Jewish Living Program provides trainings, hands-on workshops, and coordinates logistics for our residents to attend High Holy Day, Shabbat, holiday and B’nai Mitzvah services, seders, and celebrations as well as cultural events within the fabric of the Jewish community.

The Program Administrator consults with the JFGH Board of Directors’ Jewish Living Committee, serves as a liaison with other Federation agencies, and is a resource to other Jewish Living programs.

The Jewish Living Program is jointly funded by the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, the Ina and Jack Kay Jewish Living Fund, the Wagner-Braunsberg Jewish Living Fund, the David and Diane Sykes Tree of Life Fund and the Kosher Kitchen Fund.
