Save the date for Israel @ 60: A Capital Celebration on Sunday, June 1, 2008 on the National Mall! Join the entire Washington, D.C. community for an afternoon celebrating Israel’s 60th birthday. Live music, dancing, food, and more! Visit www.israel60dc.org.		Rock the Law II concert was June 17th Save the Date! The Rock the Law II Concert, featured The Johnny Esquire Band, on June 17, 2008 at the State Theater in Falls Church, VA. Doors opened at 6:30 p.m. Tickets purchased by May 1st are $50 per person. Art auction benefits JFGH Nine paintings by the late Alex De Boeck, a contemporary abstract artist, were auctioned by Sloans & Kenyon in Chevy Chase. Proceeds benefited JFGH. The auction was on February 8th, the De Boeck paintings came up for auction on Saturday, February 9. Super Sunday January 27, 2008 JFGH residents, staff and members of the Board of Directors came out to support the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s most important fundraising day of the year.
