Our JFGH Community

Our community includes the residents we serve and the many people who work with and support JFGH: the residents’ family members; our staff; board of directors; volunteers; and donors. The quality and dedication of our staff, and the depth and breadth of support we receive from directors, family members, volunteers, and donors is both integral to our success and a testament to the quality of our program.

Residents are provided with safe, comfortable and loving home environments as well as the training they need to lead more independent lives. Residents join us at all our fund raising events and participate in a wide range of social, cultural and recreational events. Involvement and inclusion in the community increases the independence and dignity of the individuals we serve.

Our employees are extraordinary. Their skills and dedication make a difference in the quality of care and services residents receive every day. Many employees have served JFGH for many years; Twenty eight employees have worked at JFGH for 10 years or more. For new employees, joining an experienced staff force makes learning their job much easier and more rewarding.

Providing the level of care and programming JFGH offers would also not be possible without the dedication and support of our board of directors, volunteers and donors.

Finally, we are privileged to be guided by exceptional leadership. Vivian G. Bass, our CEO, has served JFGH for 20 years and received numerous awards and recognitions.
