Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting takes place every fall. The highlight of
the Annual Meeting is always the slideshow.

The Annual Meeting also includes the presentation of JFGH’s
volunteer service awards, corporate partnership awards, and
staff services awards. The presentation of nomination
committee report, election of officers, and the installation
of officers and directors also occur at this event.

Gala
The JFGH Gala has become one of the largest and most
prestigious fundraising events among Jewish and disability
agencies in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.
The 2007 Gala, featuring Hootie & the Blowfish is expected
to break the 2006 record of $1.4 million raised with over
1,600 people in attendance.
The Gala is budgeted to raise more than half of JFGH’s
charitable dollars for the year. Proceeds from the Gala
ensure that JFGH is able to continue to provide residential
support for adults with developmental disabilities and/or
chronic mental illness. This includes safe, beautiful and
accessible homes, a warm and caring family atmosphere, and
well-qualified and trained staff to ensure that the diverse
needs of the residents are met.
The Gala also includes the presentation of the annual S.
Robert Cohen Achievement Award.

Home Run
Sunday morning, September 28th. Join the fun and support
JFGH by participating in a 10k, 5k or 'fun run' starting at
Federal Plaza on East Jefferson Street in Rockville. This is
JFGH's fourth year teaming up with the Hebrew Home of
Greater Washington to raise funds through this event.

Spring/Summer “Rock the Law”
Concert
The first Rock the Law Concert in July 2007 featured The
Johnny Esquire Band with over 400 people attending the
concert.

Rock the Law II and beyond will take place every June at the
State Theatre in Falls Church, VA.
