How We Are Funded

The Jewish Foundation for Group Homes is supported by federal, state and local government funding, client fees, contributions, foundations, the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and the United Way of the National Capital Area. JFGH opens doors of independence for its residents, and strives to educate and sensitize the larger community to open its doors to persons with disabilities.

How you can help
Raising any child to adulthood is full of challenges, but for the families of children with disabilities, the concerns are magnified. Residents of JFGH have a wide range of disabilities, some with a high degree of independence and others who will need one or more advocates looking out for their interests all of their lives. A charitable gift to JFGH is a personal expression of your generosity and faith in the mission and services of JFGH. There are many ways to help.

JFGH can work with you and your advisors to help you achieve your philanthropic goal of creating a legacy of hope. Inquiries and discussions are held in strictest confidence. Our goal is to assist you in making the ideal gift of creating a legacy of hope that will provide maximum benefit both to you and to JFGH.
