Full-time RN to work with adults with developmental disabilities in our residential and transition programs.
The position requires the RN to operate as a delegating nurse with responsibilities to include providing consultation to staff regarding issues and concerns relevant to participant’s medical needs, advising participants on health maintenance and disease prevention, working with medical providers to assess participants’ health problems and needs, maintaining medical records, creating and assuring participants nursing care plans are implemented and participating in team coordination of planning and implementing long-range goals.
In addition to the delegating RN responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to perform administrative and managerial functions, such as implementing programs designed to improve the overall health of participants and provide (CMT) Certified Medical Technician, CPR and First Aid training.
