Volunteer at JFGH

Volunteering with JFGH is a fun and rewarding way to reach out to members of your community. There are many ways for volunteers to become involved with JFGH. You can:

    Be a friendly visitor or special friend to a group home or resident(s)

    Help out as an administrative volunteer at our office headquarters

    Celebrate the holidays with a group home/ residents

  Other Volunteer Suggestions:

  1. Help bake cookies at a group home.
  2. Have a BINGO game night at a home.
  3. Give a craft lesson to a resident(s)
  4. Go to a home and give the women manicures.
  5. Help plant a garden outside a group home.
  6. Lead a sing-a-long
  7. Go hiking
  8. Plan a swim party at a swim center.
  9. Plan an outing to a sports event.
  10. Take residents out on a picnic.
  11. Join residents and go bowling or to mini-golf.
  12. Host a BBQ at your home or at a group home.

Volunteering with JFGH is a great way to fullfil Bar/Batmitzvah projects. If you are interested in doing this, contact Linda and she can help you design a project based on your interests.
